Live a Balanced Life

Live a Balanced Life ” and happiness and success will follow.

For years I have studied personal development and never truly understood how to live life to the fullest until one day I heard the phrase- “Live a Balanced Life”.

What does it mean?

I like to refer to an R&B song that was put out in the early 2000′s called “Emotional Roller Coaster”.
The title of the track itself is powerful if you understand what I mean by that.

The highs and lows that come with life can be unbearable at times, it’s these times when you must stay even. Don’t get carried away with the highs and don’t let the lows keep you down.

Instead…I say “Live a Balanced Life

If you were to draw a line on a paper that resembles the highs and lows of life…lets say start with your pen on the paper and go up for two inches and curve down for four inches then up for four and continue this until you have about five lows and five highs, that’s the “Emotional Roller Coaster

Now…Take your pen and draw a strait line from left to right in the middle of your 1st grade art project..LOL…That is where you need to stay!

Don’t get too crazy with the highs and don’t get too depressed with the lows… “Live a Balanced Life”

One Response to “Live a Balanced Life”

  1. Beat Schindler Says:

Like you, I struggled many years with balancing life, emotions, self … till I was electrified and forever changed by an audio book on cd a friend had given me. The Road Less Traveled by M Scott Peck. “Life is difficult. This is a great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult – once we truly understand and accept it – then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters.” It was about 15 years ago and has been with me ever since :-)
