Yes, we are products of our past…

But….

WE DONT HAVE TO BE PRISONERS OF IT!!

As a child I watched my mom (Who I Love sooooo  much)

get beat and try to make excuses for this boy who thought he was tough…

And for years I let that run my life…

I became a prisoner of my own past and it took me almost 17+ years to see it~!!!

Looking back at your life I’d bet there is something that happened to you that you keep thinking about

(I wrote on this issue before Remember..Dont Drink The Poison )

Sitting Back and thinking about your past can change your life and it wont be for the better

Now I’m not just talking about negative feelings

Dont live in your past..AT ALL!!!

If you continue to look back at how your were in high school even though it might be positive it will bring negative thoughts about the present..Which leads to More Poison!!!

ONE LESSON FROM THIS…

AN INCREDIBLE WOMAN

I was told once by an incredible woman to “Be Golden” and yet the issue I had is that I wasn’t.  I never knew that feeling but she said I had to {“Be Golden”}

WHY GOLDEN??
Well “I’m Platnum” just doesn’t sound that good….

I have been through what some people would say a very easy life which it has been on the surface but mentally for a few years I had some major problems with depression and anxiety.  I would snap over the salt shaker in the wrong place..

WHAT CHANGED?

I had to be told what I knew and I was told along time ago but it was a single song that made me realize that I am the one that creates my day when I’m mad, sad, angry or happy…It all is because of myself I let life put me in these situations I’ve been told (even recently) your waisting your time you will never be successful (ps. thank you for the drive)

But, all in all in the past I would let that stir me crazy and drive me to a point of depression to where that I would drink myself numb but in looking back I realize the majority of those people who have told me to quit ‘music’ or stop ‘dreaming’ just didn’t understand my vision or me for that matter and some of them just want me to fail so they look better…

SO HERE IT IS!

I never knew honestly that my life was what I wanted the issue at hand though, is that I’ve let other people tell me what I’ve wanted…and unfortunately you probably have too!

Which is ok!!!!

This problem can be fixed…I like the “A.D.D.” story that “Frank Kern” used in one of the videos for “Mass Control”

{Disclaimer….my memory of this is not word for word and this is my opinion}(Frank..that was for you)

This was the add that Frank read…soon thereafter he did go see a “shrink”….whom asked….

PARADIGMING-A PHRASE USED IN GOING THROUGH A PARADIGM SHIFT(ok so I made it up)

The shift took place as “Frank” recalled

“I’m a self made multi-millionaire and businesses from across the world seek me for business advice…you sit at work all day while I’m at the beach surfin?…and your going to tell me I got a problem?”

And just that fast his life was free…..

Its in a single thought that leads to action where lives are changed..

What do you want?  MONEY?  Yes we all claim to want money and for some reason, with the way our minds work, we think a few pieces of paper with pictures of dead men on it can change our life.  Yes it is VERY sad!!!

So with that being said…       …do you still want money or do you want what it can get you?  Is it the hundred thousand dollar cars or the million dollar homes and estates?  Because if that’s the case who are you when you get it?  AND…      …what will you want then???

FASTER CARS?????…..BIGGER HOUSES????

That’s fine… BUT, once again I ask… where will you be mentally when you have the fifty room estate on your own private island with a private jet and the fastest manufactured car on the face of the earth?  Right back to where you stand now….LOST!!!!!

That is why you strive for success isn’t it? To be lost?  It is just a question because we don’t look at the truth.  We would rather lie to ourselves and tell ourselves that its all about the money.  When in fact it is about who we are who we want to become and how we want to feel.  We don’t want to be the person everyone said would fail… AND DOES!!!!

It is all a mind game, you ask what is a mind game?   LIFE!!  So I have to say… here it is.  I have been involved in network marketing or as some call it multi-level marketing for years.  After thousands of dollars spent I realized what was keeping people from succeeding.  We as humans are letting our feelings towards what we say we want get in the way of accomplishing what we really want.  PURE HAPPINESS AND PEACE WITHIN OURSELVES!!!!

I now challenge you as one of my life mentors did me.  Dig deeper inside yourself than you have ever dug before.  Find your true reason to live.  What makes you happy?  Why do you wake up every morning?  Its not to go to work with the boss that hates you and only keeps you there because your good at your J.O.B.  Remember this is you talking to you.  Think about it.

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen. It’s an explanation other people will understand.
A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I don’t believe that God exists.”

“Why do you say that?” asked the customer.

“Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.”

The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: “You know what? Barbers do not exist.”

“How can you say that?” asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!”

“No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don’t exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.”

“Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me.”

“Exactly!”- affirmed the customer. “That’s the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him. That’s why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world.”

Ok…Here it is.  Years ago I started following a track of different people and quotes.  In doing so I found a quote which has brought me to write this blog not sure how it went word for word but it went something like this:

“If you hold hate inside yourself, your drinking the poison that kills you instead”

Now where do you stand..I have spent some time over looking and thinking about this quote and I start with this story.

I was in fifth grade in Mesa, AZ with my mom, my sister and my moms new boyfriend.  My father lived about twenty minutes away from my sister and I.  My mother decided that it would be best for all of us if we moved and so it was known to everyone that we were on path to leave after we finished school…

But…in the last few months one would think my father would try to fight it and keep us or at least try to find a way to spend as much time as he could with us. But, instead he chose not to.. Then as a senior in high school I decided to send him an invite for my graduation but to my suprise he actually booked a flight!!!  He came out on the Monday before I graduated(if my memory is correct) and spent most of his time with my sister and my nephew.

Then, the night before I graduated he called me to inform me that he saved a “BIG” fifty dollars leaving out early instead of waiting to watch me graduate..

Not that big of a deal to alot of you because I know you have had harder lives than me but I held that against him for the longest time and then just the other day I started thinking about it and realized I have held myself back more concerned with not being a failure like my father that I was on the same track he was on because I was drinking the poison!!!

That leads me to say this…

Don’t drink the poison!!!!!

At times our lives as humans is severely hard and things will go wrong.  There is no way around that, but, when you focus on the negative your taking a shot of rat poisoning trying to run in the rat race and guess what?…

YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT!!!!

So where does this take me and you???????????

To this point..Positive thinking at all times will turn your life around more than you can recognise, in listening to a cd an old friend gave me by world renoun motivational speaker “Anthony Robbins” he talks about this seven day mental diet.

He said to stop all negative thinking for seven full days.  Now I’m not saying that you can’t have any negative thoughts we’re only human…we can’t do that but if you have a negative thought, follow it imediately with a positive correction such as: What I really meant to say was…..

Do this for seven days strait.  If you fail once you need to start over and once you have done this and completed it the poison of life will be flushed out of your system.

Even if it fails and you still drink the poison you will have another aspect of life

Give it a try.  See what happens, and let me know the outcome.
