The Road of Life

The Road of Life” at times may look like this…↓

Dirt Road

Which is totally fine because it does for everyone at some point!

To be honest it’s at this second that it starts to rain and the wind gets strong enough to “almost” blow us over!  BUT, it is now that you have to Fight Harder than you ever have before to surpass all problems that you face! And don’t worry about failing because you can’t fail, unless you quit!

It’s ok to get discouraged once in a while, everyone does!  It is even ok to rest, we need rest! IT IS NOT OK TO QUIT!

When you see that “The Road of Life” is getting long and rocky remember…

There WILL be a better day!
Beach Bliss

I mean it!

Yeah…If you continue to focus on it, it can always get worse! That’s when I say look for the positive and it may be hard to find. In finding the positive in your situation you may smooth the “rocky road” out a bit and lessen the burden of “Life’s Journey

From this day forward I challenge you to encourage the “Rocky Roads,” they make who you are! You might be able to smooth some of them out (which I hope you do), but they’re still important to your character!

Use the knowledge I’ve shared with you…I had to go through a lot to figure some of this out and for some of you younger people, PAY ATTENTION! You can save yourselves a lot of time! (and PAIN!).

Feel free to comment. Actually I encourage it! Start a conversation if need be. Use not only me but your other peers to grow your mind!

P.S. See it as it is, “The Road of Life” can be difficult. Just don’t make it out to be worse than it is! Besides, there are also the really smooth and easy parts too.

Be True To You!

Be True To You! I cannot say this enough! (This is where I should type it all over the page, But I wont)

Be true to yourself in every aspect of your life.  Don’t Allow outside influence to determine how you act.

“Know What It’s Like to Feel Life…Don’t Front Life”-M.C. Search (I think that quote is right)

Do This!!

Be Honest to yourself in everything that you do and don’t try to change anything for anybody!  Be you!  Do you!

If you can “Be True To You

You will then know what its like to “Feel Life” not “Front Life”!

Think about it!  It does make sense if you can grasp the concept!

The Power of Being Positive

I want you to think about what is said. Don’t just read the post. This is an interactive post…My first “Interactive Post” so work with me here!  Lol

I want you to think back in your life…Who was the person that influenced you to be the best you could be? If you had to name just one person out of everyone whom you’ve ever known. What person would you name? (write it below in the comment box).

Now think about the Positive messages that he/she shared with you. Out of all the “Single Quotes” and/or “Life Lessons” he/she shared, or should I say taught you, what was the strongest most positive thing? (That goes in the comment box as well, go ahead and write that now) [Don't leave me hanging here! You can do it! I know you can type!]

Now think about how that affected your life. (Last thing to type! Then we’re done!) Write it down now please.

That isThe Power of Being Positive

It is the power to touch other peoples’ lives and leave a legacy of greatness.  Not for us but for those who look up to us!

I do not have any kids (at this time) But, what I do have is a handful of nieces and nephews that I love with all my heart! If me being positive can make an impact on their lives…Then that is what needs to take place!! The same goes for you!

Who looks up to you?
Are you aware of who looks up to you? Are they a younger brother, sister, your child / children, your grandchildren, nieces & nephews, or maybe even the neighborhood kids? Whether you believe it or not they are there, and guess what?!!

They Matter!!!

So remember…You hold “The Power of Being Positive!

As always Be Good and,

Stay Boosted!

P.S. I hope you (and everyone else who read this) wrote everything down in the comment box! If so, you can look down below to see how other peoples lives have been touched, and who touched them!

You Cannot Buy Motivation

Trust me I’ve tried!

You may be able to buy something that gets you motivated but its YOU who supplies the motivation.

Over time I have become a huge Anthony Robbins fan.  A lot of people think it is because he motivates me, IT’S NOT!

That’s not what he does.  He simply points you in the direction to finding that point inside of you to get the motivation to not give up and not be a quitter.  People do not pay thousands of dollars to go to his seminar’s to get motivated.  If they did, by the time they got home they would need it again! (because the majority of the people who go to his conventions travel thousands of miles).

YOU CANNOT BUY MOTIVATION

It’s YOU who tells yourself to do work!
It’s YOU who makes yourself get out of bed! (when you do..LOL).
It’s YOU who controls ALL this!

Money is not what brings success or motivation!

YOU DO!…So try this “Affermation

————————————————————————–

I am Motivated
I will push myself to new horizons
I am Motivated
I deserve new levels of success that I will not only achieve but I will help others achieve
I am Motivated
I am great, my life is great, every day I’m in the presence of greatness because
I am Motivated
————————————————

Be Motivated today and don’t let anything stop you.

Be great because that’s who you are not what money bought you.

Get Rest!

I’m trying to listen to myself on this one!

I’m a Work-a-holic! (or at least I am when it comes to this blog or similar “jobs”).

I’ll push myself to the max as do a lot of other Americans..

In thinking about my “Sunday” last night…I realized that I did more work yesterday than I did “Saturday” and its not suppose to work like that!

Get Rest

Its that simple, over time a person can and will burn themselves out on work and/or even something they like (bad example but you’ll get the idea…I love Oreo cookies but I ate so much of them over a period of time that they don’t taste as good as they use to).

Yes I know its one of the worst examples I could have used but I had to …  :)

The “Oreo” Lesson..??

Don’t over do yourself in anything even if you “Love” it!

It is this simple…

Do what you want when you want but in doing that remember one main lesson!:

Get Rest

I hope you have a good day Keep Smiling!!

Lets Get Religious!

O.K. Now my original thoughts were to keep my religious thoughts off of this blog.

However, I believe it’s true that no matter what your religion is, you can still “Stay Boosted!”

But…Well…Here goes!

For those of you who don’t know already that my partner [Gary Anderson] aka “@GanderCo” is a Christian person and so is his family.  I was over there today when his wife told a story that was shared earlier this morning in church and it sparked a thought about my past that I think should be shared!

(Disclaimer!: If your not into religion and don’t want to hear about this-then don’t read it. I promise not to be mad).

In my life I’ve been the poster child for going back and forth with religion not that I’ve planned on it but I was young and dumb!

As a child I didn’t know anything but being a Christian but I never truly led the life that I should have.

The story starts in November of ’01 I had just found a really close friend that showed me another side of “Christ” that I hadn’t seen (or paid attention to) and instantly it seemed as if my life had changed for the better.  I didn’t make it to church but would consider myself a God fearing man.  Then one day I got the phone call that a friend of mine had been murdered and turned my back to God.

It was about a year later I met my “adopted” family (well lets just say real close friends), and they got me going to church and I loved it but one thing led to another while I was on the ship (I was in the Navy) and against my power (I thought) I had hit rock bottom and I did not want to live!!

I attempted to turn to God but what others would see as a test of my “Faith” I took as a good push away from Him, and sadly started to wounder if there was a god and if there was, how could he allow people to go through pain and let young kids die for no reason and diseases and famine and the list goes on and on.

Then I came across a piece of paper (Author Unknown to me) with the best explanation for that-it read:

———————————————————————————————–

This is one of the best explanations of “Why God Allows Pain and Suffering” that I have seen. It’s an explanation that other people will understand.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I don’t believe that God exists.”

“Why do you say that?” asked the customer.

“Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn’t exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can’t imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.”

The customer thought for a moment, but didn’t respond because he didn’t want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: “You know what? Barbers do not exist.”

“How can you say that?” asked the surprised barber. “I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!”

“No!” the customer exclaimed. “Barbers don’t exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.”

“Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me.”

“Exactly!”- Affirmed the customer. “That’s the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens is, people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him. That’s why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world.”
