A Sunday Morning Boost on Reciprocity

A Sunday Morning Boost For YOU!

This Sunday Morning Boost almost didn’t happen. After all, StayBoosted-CJ and I are only human right? Besides, everyone deserves a day off once in a while too, I’m sure you’ll agree. However, I felt like writing anyway and I think this will go along quite well with a “Sunday Morning Boost!”

The Law Of Reciprocity:

Have you ever heard of something called “The Law Of Reciprocity“? It states basically that if you are willing to give, then you will receive even more of what you gave. Some down home country Christian folk (such as myself, “StayBoosted-Gary”), like to call it “What goes around Comes around!” Or how about “The Golden Rule” that states basically; however you want to be treated is how you should treat others. Do you ever wonder why so much crappy stuff happens to you? I hope not, I hope your life is going just fantabulously (yes, I made that word up. Sorta).

Is The Law of “Reciprocity” so hard to believe?

Did you know that there are some people in the world who do not believe in God at all, and some that are agnostic but will still give to their local Church what they perceive to be a “Tithe”- as it is understood by Christians anyway? Now why in the world would an atheist do such a thing? It is because although they do not believe in God, they have figured out the fact that for whatever reasons they cant explain, when they stop giving, their income goes down. Atheists aren’t stupid you know, they pick-up on these things.

If You “Want” More, Then “Give” More!

This is not a sermon, ok? But “The Law Of Reciprocity” is real, and since this is Sunday, I thought it might be appropriate. If this upsets you, then you’re taking it all wrong, this is a fantastic thing! Look at it this way: When you give to others and help others, not ONLY your local church but people in general, you get to feel good about yourself for helping others in any way you possibly can, and then later you will, according to the law of reciprocity, gain back even more than you gave!

My Personal Experience With Forgiving:

Just a real quick-fast short story: A very dear friend of mine owed me $400 for a loan that I gave him one summer. The very next week that I loaned him the $400, he lost his job and became very depressed that he was unable to pay me back. Later that year at Christmas time I officially “forgave” him of the debt, right over the phone. He was ecstatic! Approximately 1 year after that, “I” owed someone $3,300 towards a $4,000 loan that someone gave me. I did make the payments for a while, but then “I” became very hard up.

I’m sure you’re about to guess what happened next, but I’ll bet you’re not going to believe me, but it’s true. The guy that “I” owed $3,300 to also officially “Forgave Me” of the rest of the balance of the loan which again was $3,300!! Now, as a Christian boy, I was taught that God will give you 7 to 10 times more than what you (me) first give Him. If you do the math, that’s about how it worked out. In my personal case I believe that by giving to my friend in need, God viewed it as giving just the same to God Himself.

Ok, this is starting to sound a little “Churchy” and that is not what this particular blog is about, so I’ll stop here, ok?

Have faith, be strong and as always,

Stay Boosted!

The Power of Being Positive

I want you to think about what is said. Don’t just read the post. This is an interactive post…My first “Interactive Post” so work with me here!  Lol

I want you to think back in your life…Who was the person that influenced you to be the best you could be? If you had to name just one person out of everyone whom you’ve ever known. What person would you name? (write it below in the comment box).

Now think about the Positive messages that he/she shared with you. Out of all the “Single Quotes” and/or “Life Lessons” he/she shared, or should I say taught you, what was the strongest most positive thing? (That goes in the comment box as well, go ahead and write that now) [Don't leave me hanging here! You can do it! I know you can type!]

Now think about how that affected your life. (Last thing to type! Then we’re done!) Write it down now please.

That isThe Power of Being Positive

It is the power to touch other peoples’ lives and leave a legacy of greatness.  Not for us but for those who look up to us!

I do not have any kids (at this time) But, what I do have is a handful of nieces and nephews that I love with all my heart! If me being positive can make an impact on their lives…Then that is what needs to take place!! The same goes for you!

Who looks up to you?
Are you aware of who looks up to you? Are they a younger brother, sister, your child / children, your grandchildren, nieces & nephews, or maybe even the neighborhood kids? Whether you believe it or not they are there, and guess what?!!

They Matter!!!

So remember…You hold “The Power of Being Positive!

As always Be Good and,

Stay Boosted!

P.S. I hope you (and everyone else who read this) wrote everything down in the comment box! If so, you can look down below to see how other peoples lives have been touched, and who touched them!

Are You Ready to Fail?

A really good “Positive Thought”, ok? Check it out!

Time and time again people , including “Michael Jordan”, fail just as much as us “not so super-humans” do.-lol, but its not that big of a deal to us until we truly look at it! For you “Golfers” listen to this: “Tiger Woods” didn’t qualify!

Us “regular people”, too often get so incredibly awe-struck by all that stuff that these seeminglyAmazing Athletes” have been able to accomplish, to the point that we think they have been given some kind of Gift From God or something!  Now, I’m NO doctor or therapist or anything like that, but I’ve learned to recognize fundamental, laws of the universe/Principles when I see them (for example “The Law of Attraction“). Principles that apply no differently to you and me than they do to the “Super Humans” mentioned above!

Failings Are Precious Life Lessons!

It’s the All-Mighty Michael Jordan! Arguably the best in his business, right? But THINK for a minute! Think! No, don’t say: “Yea but he’s Michael Jordan, he’s different, I could never be like that”. To be honest, I hope you’re already way ahead of me as to where I’m going with this, but if not that’s ok, that’s why StayBoosted.com is here, ok?

Failing Is A Necessary Part Of The “Life Learning” Process!

So the next time you feel like you “Failed”, be thankful for the “Life Lesson” and push towards your destination in life!

As always Be Good and Stay Boosted!

One more thing-I write to give you, “The Reader”, postive thoughts, motivation and a new outlook on life. I hope you enjoy what I have to write. If you do, please leave a comment so I know how you feel.

Is Perception Reality?

Perception is Reality?

YES! Here is one of my True “Life Lessons”: I strove to be a leader of many and thought I failed, only to find out later that I am a near “god-like” figure and leader of the two most important people on the planet! It’s true! Their names are, Chloe and Noah. Lesson: I’m the leader of the two most important people on the planet! That is my Perception! That is my Reality! Read between the lines, and THINK! Until then….

Closing Thought:

I wrote this Blog Post the very minute it came to me, so I thought I’d just “Copy-n-Paste” it here on the blog. Now I realize how much more I can Expand on this Extremely Important “Life Lesson“. So, I will expand on this soon, especially if this post gets several Comments asking for the “Expanded Version” so to speak.
